It’s time again for the most exciting deals of the moment. Whether you’re looking for strategy, survival or role-playing games – we’ve got something for everyone

Midweek Madness on Wednesday is not only a nice alliteration, but also your opportunity to get good games for cheap on Steam. We ventured into the sale jungle for you and of course didn’t come back without a few real bargains

Highlight of the week: Anno 1800

(Genre:Building strategy – Release: April 16, 2019 – Price: 15 Euro (reduced by 75 percent, valid until April 29))

If you took a look at GameStar.de last week, you might have come across one or two articles about Anno 1800 . No wonder, because the building strategy game from Ubisoft is celebrating its 5th birthday and we’re celebrating with you for a whole two weeks

But now to the game: Anno 1800 takes you back to the beginnings of the industrial age As with its predecessors, you start the game with a single ship and enough materials for your first trading post, as well as a few huts and your first production areas.

In your growing city, you take care of the needs of your inhabitants, who can advance to higher categories of workers. You can then use these upgrades to acquire new resources and goods, set up production chains and trade.

You use warships to protect your transport routes from pirates and competing factions, which can also be real players in multiplayer. In the main game, you can also conquer the New World, and other regions such as Africa and Antarctica are added via various add-ons

that are subject to a charge.

The expansions are currently also reduced on Steam. Our Anno experts have broken down which of them are most worthwhile for you in this overview.

Tip: The four predecessors of Anno 1800 can also be found as History Editions on Steam. In the bundle they cost 18 Euro (reduced by 61 percent), but you can buy them individually.
