On April 17, the action role-playing game Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree will be released. The side-scroller aims to combine the best of Metroidvania and Soulslike, offering you a wide range of weapons and armor. To make sure you don’t just blindly swing all axes and longswords into the ribs of your enemies, there is a sophisticated leveling system for your character.

This is how you gradually unlock abilities and skills in the talent tree that will give your character very individual powers over time. For example, you can focus on pure strength to lead tower shields, or you can take a more aggressive approach and get attacks like “Deep Wounds” to increase bleeding effects.

You can also reset talents mid-game, though, so you don’t have to worry about becoming a two-skill mage.

Mandragora will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC You can, for example, add it to your wishlist on Steamor on your wishlist on the storeand play the free demo.
