For Cyberpunk fans, this week’s free games on Epic are doubly worth it. You’ll get Citizen Sleeper and Robobeat for free.
Every Thursday is time for new free games—at least if you have an Epic Games account. This week, too, starting June 18 at 5 p.m., two games will be given away again. As always, that’s a reason to celebrate—but this time, it’s especially great for Cyberpunk fans.
Even though Cyberpunk 2077 isn’t being given away (unfortunately), you can still grab a stylish retro shooter and a narrative RPG set in a dystopian future for free. For the next seven days, Epic is giving away Citizen Sleeper and Robobeat.
Citizen Sleeper
If you’re craving a dark cyberpunk story, Citizen Sleeper might be just the thing for you. In this role-playing game, you play as a so-calledSleeper
, a digitized human consciousness housed in an artificial body. That alone fits perfectly with the ever-present question of humanity in the dystopian genre.
But that’s not the only tricky issue you’ll have to face. You flee a life of slavery to a space station where idealists have taken the reins following the collapse of capitalism. Things don’t go quite as ideally as expected, though—the station is sinking into chaos amid lawless and rival factions. Caught in the middle, you must somehow earn money to build a future for yourself, find allies, and finally escape your pursuers.

Robobeat
If you’d rather not make any tough decisions and just go with the flow, Robobeat might be more your style.This fast-paced rhythm shooter also features a cyberpunk vibe, albeit with retro graphics.
You play as Ace, a bounty hunter on the trail of the fugitive robot Frazzer. You’ll run, slide, glide, and blast your way through futuristic corridors, defeating armies of tin warriors who stand in your way—all set to a snappy beat.
Especially cool: If the electronic techno music isn’t your thing,you can also upload your own soundtrack to the game.If you fail, you’ll start over in Roguelite style until you’ve found the perfect remix for yourself.
