Who should play Deus Ex: Mankind Divided?
Strictly speaking, Mankind Divided is the fourth installment in the Deus Ex saga, taking place chronologically before the first two parts and after 2011’s Human Revolution, but you don’t have to play the entire series to get through Mankind Divided. And that’s a blessing and a curse
Curse, because the story of Mankind Divided is quite isolated and therefore doesn’t pick up on any of the exciting story threads of the other parts of the series that make Deus Ex so great in the first place. Blessing, because … well, because you don’t need any prior knowledge to enjoy this cyberpunk world
You travel to the distant future of 2029 and plunge into a chrome-plated high-tech world full of augmentations, corporations and capitalist fantasies of great power, which at second glance is riddled with fascism, poverty and other dystopian horrors typical of the genre.

The game’s greatest strength is its freedom: Agent Adam Jensen completes heaps of main and side missions in Prague and decides for himself whether he wants to proceed loudly, quietly, smartly or roughly, whether he hacks into enemy systems or rains down on his opponents from above like an angel of death.
Anyone who likes Cyberpunk 2077 will find a comparable, incredibly dense experience here on a smaller scale. Without an open world, but still with very, very cool experiences.
