Do you still have some blockbusters on your wish list? Then be sure to check out the Epic Store, where the Mega Sale is currently tempting you with strong offers.

As if the current free games on Steam and Epic weren’t enough, you can currently get numerous blockbusters for a small price in the so-called Mega Sale in the Epic Store. In addition to the already high discounts, a 25 percent voucher is automatically deducted from your purchases.

But the savings don’t stop there: Because after you have secured one or the other game hit with discount and voucher at the lowest price, you will receive another voucher as a thank you, which you can apply to a shopping basket of at least 14.99 euros. As you can see, there are good reasons to check again at the end of the month whether you really own enough games already!

Highlights from the Epic Mega Sale

Red Dead Redemption 2

(Genre: Action – Developer: Rockstar San Diego – Release: Nov 5, 2019 (PC) – Price: 22 Euro (incl. 25 percent voucher, reduced by 50 percent)Offer valid until: 16 June 2022)

Wild West is one of those things. Sure, the sheer endless expanses invite you to explore, the music blaring from the saloon makes you want to jump right up on the counter and dance away, and in the evening you relax on the back of your horse with a portion of baked beans. It’s just a pity that you have to expect to be ruthlessly shot over every few metres.

Thank goodness for Red Dead Redemption 2: thanks to this masterpiece, you can indulge in all the above pastimes (and many more) without having to worry about ending up in the real dust of the now not-so-wild West. Here, too, bullets whiz around your hat every now and then, but since you play the rough-and-tumble gunslinger Arthur Morgan, you can effectively defend your skin and shoot back.

What can you expect? One of the most immersive open worlds in video game history, bursting with detail at every turn. And a thrilling, epic story about your gang, who are searching for a new life between greed, hope, betrayal and madness, but who keep getting in their own way. Oh, and of course you also own horses that seem so lifelike that you form a real bond with them.

All in all, you can expect a fabulously good adventure that is at its best on the PC.

Far Cry 6

(Genre: First-person shooter – Developer: Ubisoft Toronto – Release: 6. October 2021 – Price: 22 Euro (includes 25 percent coupon, reduced by 50 percent)Offer valid until: June 16, 2022)

If you’ve already played the predecessors, you’ll already have a good idea of what to expect in Far Cry 6: uncomplicated gun battles in an extensive open-world setting. This time it is called Yara and is a fictional Caribbean island. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to sip cocktails on the beach, but will have to support the locals in their fight against the cruel dictator Antón Castillo.

Holiday flair in a hail of bullets: As befits an Ubisoft game with an open game world, you will not simply march from A to B, but will be distracted in between by countless side activities, such as smaller missions, treasure hunts or the conquest of military installations. Sounds fun, and it is, but it can get a bit monotonous in the long run.

What is guaranteed not to become monotonous are the massive shootouts, which, thanks to a huge arsenal of weapons, hardly lose any of their intensity even after dozens of hours of play. The plot, too, can come up with one or two cool moments, even if it won’t win an Oscar, of course.

Is the open world top or flop? There is no clear answer, as our test proves:
