“I want to try to help the humanity I love,” says Elon Musk after buying Twitter and the rumour mill is buzzing.

On 27 October, Elon Musk bought the Twitter platform for a whopping $44 billion. He also dissolved the platform”s board of directors and appointed himself as the only new director. There are currently a number of confirmed and unconfirmed changes coming up.

This is what Elon Musk wants to change on Twitter

In a lengthy Twitter statement, the world”s richest man elaborates on why he bought the platform in the first place. According to the statement, he wants to create a place where users can freely, but civilly, discuss all topics with each other. The reason is not that he wants to make more money, but because he wants to try to help his beloved humanity.

With all of Twitter”s partners, Musk wants to create something very special.

So in the future he plans to have inactive accounts deleted from Twitter to free up their @ again. Many users have wanted this feature for a long time.

In addition, Elon Musk wants to form a new committee to deal with controversial content. Until then, however, no major decisions are to be made regarding account recovery or content policy.

Despite this, the rumour mill is buzzing. On 7 November, for example, the first major change will allegedly come into force.
