Yesterday, Nintendo released a new trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom. It not only offers us a new look at Hyrule with fresh gameplay. It also features familiar faces.
In The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, players are immersed in the vast and varied landscapes of Hyrule. These include the central plateau, the remote areas of the Gerudo Desert and the Eldin Volcano. These different regions not only offer visual variety, but also numerous challenges and puzzles to solve.
Old & new acquaintances
In The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, the eponymous Princess Zelda herself is at the center of the action. A mysterious threat is causing rifts to appear all over Hyrule, in which inhabitants disappear without a trace. To save them, Zelda embarks on an adventurous journey on which she encounters both old acquaintances and new characters. The heroine can do more than just have a nice chat with them. The characters also have new quests and challenges in store for the princess.
In order to keep track of everything, Zelda keeps a diaryin which all missions are recorded. Players can also discover companions scattered across the land, allowing them to travel quickly. Zelda’s faithful horse also ensures speedy travel
Gameplay in harmony with echoes
In The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, Zelda receives support from the ethereal being Tri. This allows her to use the Tri Staff, with which she can create powerful echoes. These echoes can be created as copies of objects or monsters to solve tricky puzzles or assist in battles.
A special gameplay element in Echoes of Wisdom is the power of unison. This ability allows Zelda to move or follow objects, providing numerous creative solutions to puzzles and obstacles. With Reverse Unison, Zelda can also follow the movements of creatures or objects herself, opening up new paths and possibilities.
The new Nintendo Switch Lite Hyrule Edition
TheNintendo Switch Lite Hyrule Edition, which is a special highlight for fans of the series, will also be released together with the game. The gold-colored console is decorated with the Hylian coat of arms and a Triforce motif and offers a 12-month membership to Nintendo Switch Online + expansion pack, which provides access to many classic Zelda games.
