Bandai Namco is celebrating the 10th anniversary of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 with a surprise update—and is rolling it out in two phases.
On the official website, the publisher has unveiled the content set to launch in the coming days.
You won’t have to wait long between the two phases, as the first one kicks off on October 27 and the second one follows on October 30.
Final Festival of Universes: Rare Items, 25x Star Coins, and Bonuses for Part 3
The first free update delivers fresh login bonuses, special costumes, and an expansion for the “Gallery of Time” from the “Future Saga Chapter 4” DLC. On Friday, the “Final Festival of Universes” marks the actual anniversary celebration. Here, you’ll find rare items and unlockable extras for the upcoming sequel, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 3.
“During the Final Festival of Universes, you can increase your camaraderie level with characters who have accompanied you on your journey—choices include Trunks, the Kaioshin of Time, or Fu,” the announcement states. “This will unlock special illustrations. Additionally, hard-to-find items will return, and you’ll collect 25 times more Star Coins than usual, making it easier than ever to exchange them for rewards.”
