‘Warlock’ is bringing an award winner on board in Maggie Robertson. The American voice actress is best known for her role as Lady Dimitrescu.

Maggie Robertson is familiar to all of you who have ever played Resident Evil Village and stared the great Lady Dimitrescu in the face while craning your neck. The voice actress for the vampire lady is now part of a new project. She will take on a voice role in the upcoming Dungeons & Dragons adventure. The title in question? Warlock.

Warlock Brings Award Winner Maggie Robertson On Board

What exactly is Warlock? It’s a third-person action-adventure game—so a game that’s likely to play completely differently fromBaldur’s Gate 3. Larian’s title has done a wonderful job of translating the tabletop game’s mechanics into a video game.

Not much is known about this new title. Wizards of the Coast has entrusted the project to Invoke, so it’s being developed by one of the publisher’s in-house studios.

During the D&D keynote at Gen Con, WotC announced that Maggie Robertson would be voicing a character in the upcoming game. The voice actress is known for her roles as Lady Dimitrescu in Resident Evil 8 and Orin the Red from Baldur’s Gate 3. So she already has some D&D experience. Here’s the announcement trailer.

We also know which character she’ll be voicing. It’s the protagonist’s patron. We already know her name. Robertson will voice the witch Tasha.

Wizards of the Coast recently made headlines when the publisher’s president resigned after only two years in office. He will leave his post on September 1.

“This does not change Wizards’ financial strength. Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons continue to perform exceptionally well, in line with our latest quarterly figures. Our planned video game portfolio for 2027—includingExodusand Warlock—is also right on schedule,” the company said. A successor is being sought.
