Pearl Abyss is rolling out a major patch for the open-world hit. In addition to dynamic pricing based on supply and demand, the update includes new goods and bug fixes.
If you love trading, you can now indulge in this passion even more in Pearl Abyss’ open-world action-adventure.
The latest update for the popular game brings improvements and expansions to the in-game economy. As can be seen in thePatch Notesfor the current version, a total of 133 trading posts have been added to the game.
Dynamic Price Adjustments and Community Reactions
Furthermore, the type and quantity of goods at all trading posts have been rebalanced, and new mechanics have been implemented to dynamically simulate supply and demand.
Selling too many items of the same type in one location reduces demand and local prices. The more remote a trading post is, the less it is affected by this. Additionally, 24 valuable goods have been added, and overall, profits from trading are expected to be somewhat higher.
“I’m really blown away,” writes Reddit user VictorBelmont, for example. “I thought at most three people would even be trading with the wagon.” The user Hazel0muttreplies: “Probably because the system was just crap until now. Now I’m really hyped!”
Additional Game Optimizations and Switch 2 Version
Aside from these trading aspects, there’s a lot more in the new patch. Bugs have been fixed, certain challenges can now be completed, and the animations for interacting with individual animals have been improved.
Pearl Abyss continues to provide comprehensive product maintenance and expansion for Crimson Desert. The studio recently announced that a Switch 2 version of the title is already playable.
