The Battle Royale mode announced for Call of Duty Modern Warfare is highly anticipated. Today at 4 p.m. it’s time.
Warzone will be the new competitor to well-known games like Fortnite and Apex Legends. The new mode in Call of Duty will not only be playable via crossplatform with friends, but even completely free of charge. The game will be released for PC, Xbox and PlayStation.
Furthermore, the official trailer was released yesterday. The mode is designed for 150 players and comes today at 4pm for owners of Modern Warfare. All new players will have to wait until 8pm to download the mode.
It should be noted, however, that the patch will be much smaller for Modern Warfare owners than for those who have to download the game from scratch:

New gameplay details
The mode should not only be playable alone at the beginning. According to a video of Youtuber’s Chaos, which was invited to test play Activision, 2v2 and 3v3 lobbies will also be available. The video is now offline again.
The map must accommodate at least 150 players and will therefore be accordingly large. Parts of the map are already known from previous Modern Warfare spin-offs and the current title.
For example, the well-known Groundwar map Karst River Quarry is a fixed part of the map. Also the MW2 classics Terminal and the map Overgrown can be found as part of the huge Warzone map.

Death is not the end
A completely new gameplay aspect will be the resurrection after death. Not only teammates will be able to buy so-called respawntokens with earned money. The map of Gulag Showers, known from the gunfight mode, will come back in a modified version. Here, fights are fought one-on-one and the winner is allowed to play again.
From a grandstand, which represents the waiting area, you can even influence the fights in the Gulag.
Vehicles from Groundwar come back
Of course players do not only have to flee on foot from the entering gas: The map seems to provide numerous vehicles already known from Groundwar Mode. Especially the transport helicopter plays an important role, as it will probably be the fastest means of transport.
