In a new trailer for Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4, the Adeptus Mechanicus is shown in detail for the first time as a playable faction.
The Machine Priests rely on a mix of firepower, heavy war machinery, and tactical control of the battlefield: Skitarii, Kataphron Breachers, Kastelan Robots, Onager Dunecrawlers, and even a Knight Castellan go to war for the Omnissiah.
The Noosphere Network sounds particularly exciting; it connects buildings, units, and stationary weapons, making the faction increasingly powerful.
There are also two commanders: Technoarchaeologist Potentia-Delta 9, who focuses on reconnaissance and flexible equipment, and Skitarii Marshal Sek-Ix-23, who reinforces his troops directly on the front lines.
Dawn of War 4 is scheduled for release on PC in 2026. An exact date has not yet been announced.
