Blacktail presents eerie forests in new trailer

Focus Entertainment and THE PARASIGHT give glimpses of the eerie forests of the Slavic Middle Ages in the new trailer for Blacktail. Meet the ghostly horrors of your memories.

In Blacktail, you slip into the role of 16-year-old Yaga. When her twin sister Zora mysteriously disappears from her home village, Yaga is accused of witchcraft and banished from the village. But as she gradually finds her way in the gloomy wilderness, her memories suddenly come to life.

Yaga has no choice but to hunt down these memories with bow and arrow. This is how players learn what happened to the girl in the past. The trailer has some gruesome scenes in store:

But it’s not just the memories that come to life that pose a challenge. In the gloomy forests, Yaga must also stand her ground against other dangers. By gathering materials, she can craft arrows and brew potions, allowing her to fight back in this hostile environment.

So in Blacktail you can expect challenging mini-bosses, long forgotten recipes and the possibility to develop your own play style with the progression system.
