Yesterday, Respawn Entertainment had to take the Apex Legends servers offline temporarily. In doing so, the developer fixed a serious problem with the loss of account data. This step caused quite a stir in the community.

The problem caused Apex Legends players to lose their progress and acquired content, which undoubtedly led to frustration. However, Respawn responded promptly with the message: “We made a mistake!”. At the same time, they promised to implement a quick fix to restore progress and content to affected accounts. During the server downtime, players were unable to access the game. However, the development team was confident that the game would be back online within an hour.
This was followed just a few hours later by the clarification that the account resets had been resolved

Because of this extensive work, however, the schedule of Apex Legends had to be adjusted a little. Therefore  announced Respawn Entertainment the postponement of the new Ranked Split. The exact launch date will be announced at a later date. This gives the team the opportunity to restore the progress that was made over the course of the day yesterday while ensuring that all systems are functioning properly before introducing new content

Current event at Apex Legends

While bugs are being fixed in the background, the community can still let off steam in the time-limited Shadow Lodge event . This will take place until April 16th and introduces the new Locked Out mode . This is an exciting battle for supremacy with 4 squads. The squads must capture and hold objectives. Players can complete daily event challenges to earn reputation. These can be exchanged for items in the reward store, including the new Apex artifact, the Cobalt Katar.

The Apex Legends Shadow Lodge event also features 36 limited-time cosmetic items, including legendary skins for popular characters like Mad Maggie and Horizon. Collecting these items will bring players closer to milestone rewards, including the ultimate reward: the Cobalt Death Chest. More details can be found in the corresponding blog entry
