Fortnite Confirms the One Piece Collaboration: With the “Treasure Hunters” mini-season, a new adventure awaits players starting November 1. The teaser shows the Flying Lamb and hints that the crossover is based on the anime.
Epic Games has finally confirmed the rumors of a possible collaboration between Fortnite and One Piece. With a new teaser trailer, the developer announced the upcoming Treasure Hunters mini-season, which begins on November 1. This seems to fulfill a wish for many fans, as a crossover with the popular pirate anime has long been one of the most talked-about collaborations surrounding the successful battle royale game.
Flying Lamb confirms the rumor
As early as September, initial clues suggested that the next mini-season might revolve around One Piece. The official Fortnite Twitter account also picked up on the speculation, further fueling the community’s anticipation. In recent days, the clues became more frequent before Epic Games finally let the cat out of the bag with the new trailer.
The trailer centers on the Flying Lamb, the Straw Hat Crew’s first ship. The depiction of the iconic figurehead also suggests that Fortnite is based on the anime version of One Piece rather than the Netflix live-action adaptation.
Mini-Season Bridges the Chapter Transition
Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 ends on November 1. The mini-season is scheduled to run for about a month afterward before a new chapter begins.
Epic Games has not yet fully revealed which characters will ultimately appear as playable skins or what other content is planned. Accordingly, it remains to be seen which members of the Straw Hat Crew will make their way into the game.
