Paradox has announced a new expansion for Hearts of Iron IV. In By Blood Alone you can expect new alternate history courses for Italy, Ethiopia and Switzerland. There are also some new paths and options for the most important conflicts during World War II.

The new expansion for Hearts of Iron IV is called By Blood Alone and promises new ways for you to intervene in the events of World War II. This includes new focus trees for Ethiopia, Italy and Switzerland. These let you shape the fate of the respective countries in different ways. In the course of this, of course, 20 new unit models for these three countries are not to be missed. In addition, there are new options for peace conferences, unit medals to reward the particularly energetic, and embargo interaction.

Naturally, By Blood Alone also provides you with new drivable vehicles. Conquer the skies above the war zones with either 67 new aircraft models or build one yourself with the Aircraft Designer  While you get lost in the strategic machinations of World War II, you can also listen to two new music tracks

Hearts of Iron IV: By Blood Alone should be available on PC and Mac later this year. Last November, the Eastern Front expansion brought new content to the popular Grand Strategy game.
