Konami’s in-house soccer simulation eFootball 2024 has been given a new game mode, which should be of particular interest to all solo players. But there are also some changes in terms of co-op

While Electronic Arts relies on zick brands and licenses with EA SPORTS FC, competitor Konami impresses with a free-2-play approach that evolves over time and aims to offer new content. This is what happened a few hours ago when the Japanese company unveiled a new update for eFootball 2024.

Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. today released the new update (version 3.2.0) for eFootball™ 2024.

With this update, eFootball™ 2024 has introduced a number of new features to enhance the gaming experience and create a new level of fun and excitement. In the new game mode “My League”, players join leagues around the world and play a season against the other clubs in these leagues, which are controlled by the AI.

There are also improvements to the co-op game mode, as users can now play alone and meet up with other users in game rooms to make new acquaintances in their 3v3 matches. There will also be a daily mini-game when logging in, with great prizes to be won every day and every month.

As part of this announcement, KONAMI is also pleased to confirm the new direction of the eFootball™ Championship tournaments. Two events will take place in 2024: the eFootball™ Championship Open (in its usual format) and the newest format: ‘eFootball™ Championship Club Event’.

An overview of the changes

My League

My League is a new game mode for eFootball™ 2024. In this mode, users play a season with their Dream Team against the AI. They can add loan players from the team they have selected in the league (e.g. AC Milan in the Italian league).

Throughout the season there are weather effects and various new cutscenes, including a special trophy celebration if you finish top of the table at the end of the season.

This game mode can be played as often as you like, and it is also possible to switch leagues once the season is over.

Coop event rooms

The co-op mode has been expanded so that players can now play alone or together with their friends. They can team up with other solo players to form teams of three to experience co-op mode. They can also interact with emojis in-game to react to in-game events.

During the period from December 7 to 21, players can earn rewards in co-op mode, including 4 x skill training programs to help them develop their Dream Teams.

Log-in mini-games

Every day, users can compete in entertaining mini-games and win items with which they can improve their Dream Teams or even get new players. If they manage to complete these mini-games on consecutive days in a month, they can win rewards such as prize draws for powerful players of the card type Epic.

New skill

This update also includes a new skill that will delight aggressive players. The Blitz Curler skill enables sharp, controlled shots with vertical rotation when the player uses the dominant foot and uses more than 50% of the power meter
