On 2 June 2022, the gates of hell will open once again! Then Diablo Immortal will be released for the PC (in the form of a beta) as well as mobile devices with Android and iOS operating systems. But what requirements does the action role-playing game place on your computer or mobile devices? Could my device not be compatible? And are there differences between the versions?

  • What else is there to know about Diablo Immortal?

What are the system requirements for Diablo Immortal on PC?

According to ( official information ), Diablo Immortal does not require a powerful computer on the PC. This is not surprising in view of the visuals offered, which captivate more through their style than through the use of modern technologies. Therefore, even an ancient processor of the AMD Bulldozer generation would be sufficient to start the demon hunt, i.e. an eleven-year-old model!

Minimum system requirements:

  • Processor: Intel Core-i3 / AMD FX-8100
  • Graphics card: Geforce GTX 460 / Radeon HD 6850 / Intel HD Graphics 530
  • Memory: 4 GB
  • Monitor: At least 1920×1080 pixels
  • Operating System: Windows 7/8/10/11 (64 Bit)
  • Permanent internet connection required

Recommended system requirements:

  • Processor: Intel Core-i5 / AMD Ryzen 5
  • Graphics card: Geforce GTX 770 / Radeon RX 470
  • Memory: 8 GB
  • Operating System: Windows 10/11 (64 Bit)

All information about the launch on 2 June and where you can get the game at all, (you can find in our release info collection)

What are the system requirements for Diablo Immortal on smartphones?

Even on smartphones, Diablo Immortal doesn’t pose much of a challenge for reasonably modern devices. Depending on whether you’re using an Android or Apple device, you’ll need to meet the following requirements:

System requirements for Android smartphones:

  • Operating system: Android 5
  • Processor: Snapdragon 660 / Exynos 9611
  • Graphics chip: Adreno 512 / Mali-G62 MP3
  • Memory: 2 GB
  • Memory: Not known

System requirements for iOS devices:

  • iPhone 6S or newer
  • Operating system: iOS 11
  • Storage space: 3.1 GB

Diablo Immortal all well and good, but what about Diablo 4? And what about the genre competition such as Path of Exile and Lost Ark, which of course doesn’t sleep either?

What are the differences between the PC and mobile versions of Diablo Immortal?

At release, the two versions are not yet different from each other. An interview published on Game Informer with Wyatt Cheng, the game’s game director, and Rod Ferguson, the overall director of the Diablo franchise, was accompanied by PC gameplay. If you look, you see … nothing. Because the PC version, apart from its higher resolution, resembles the mobile version down to the smallest detail.

Neither of the two versions will lose out in terms of content. So at the start you can freely choose which device you prefer to start the diabolical adventure on. The only logical difference: on the PC you can play with mouse and keyboard, while you control the mobile versions via touchscreen.

Over time, however, this is set to change. As Wyatt Cheng explains in the interview, the PC version will start with the beta seal for a good reason. This way, the feedback of the fans can be collected and used for further development.

According to him, this would automatically mean that the desktop and mobile versions would perhaps show some differences in gameplay in one or two years. Above all, he emphasises: the mobile version will remain the focus, the PC offshoot rather a kind of supplement. It is also still unclear whether content expansions will appear for both platforms at the same time.

However, it is not at all unclear which classes will be available in Diablo Immortal. All information on this and other topics concerning the game can be found in our (Info-Hub):

Does Diablo Immortal support cross-play and cross-progression?

Yes, both technologies are supported! Diablo Immortal allows you to transfer your score between mobile and PC versions, so you always have the same progress. Crossplay is also possible, so you can play together with your friends no matter which platform they start Diablo Immortal on.

What else is there to know about Diablo Immortal?
