On 22 June Warzone has started its fourth season. The developers have equipped the game with new weapons, items, operators and even a fresh map.
Warzone Season 4 is dubbed “Mercenaries of Fortune” and has been playable since 22 June 2022. At 7 p.m., the patch went online together with the new content and replaced the old game time of the Battle Royale shooter – a preload was already available to the community 24 hours earlier, which meant that players could get started straight away.
The name of the new season also gives the first clues as to how the story of Warzone will develop. It is now much more about lost gold on the map than about Nazis. For many players, however, this is less relevant – it matters more how the meta is affected by the new weapons, operators and map changes.

Warzone Season 4: What’s New
With the fourth season in Warzone, not only is the old Pacific map Caldera being reworked in a few places, but a completely new map is also available. Fortune’s Keep has somewhat larger dimensions and replaces Rebirth Island – but only for a short time. From next week on, both maps will be available in rotation.
On Caldera, on the other hand, the rivers have dried up and about half of the vegetation has died. In turn, Storage Town, already known from Verdansk, has celebrated its return.
Along with the new maps, a total of four new game modes will be introduced in Warzone Season 4. Fortune’s Keep Resurgence and Golden Plunder are already available, while Titanium Trials or Rebirth of the Dead are yet to be released.
In addition, players can of course once again discover some brand new weapons, operators and items. ATMs, EMP grenades and portable Redeploy balloons will surely have an impact on your approach during a round.
Just like the three playable characters Carver Butcher, Callum Hendry and Ikenna Olowe, who each take on Warzone with their favourite weapon. Butcher has been around since the launch of Season 4, the other two operators will be released gradually.
There should be enough time to complete the Battle Pass of Warzone Season 4 until the middle or end of August. After that, the finale of the current season and the launch of the fifth season are expected.
CoD: Warzone Battle Pass Season 4 – These weapons are now available
With the launch of Season 4 in Call of Duty: Warzone and Vanguard, a new Battle Pass is also released with quite a few rewards.
Season 4 of Call of Duty: Warzone and Vanguard starts on Wednesday and has already introduced some new content in the roadmap. For this, a completely new Battle Pass is also available for players. This includes a whole host of new weapon blueprints.
The Battle Pass is available for free in Warzone. However, only some items are included. There is also a premium version that costs 1,000 CoD points, but for this the players can unlock all the content. For 2,400 CoD points, it is possible to buy the Battle Pass in a bundle and skip the first 25 levels.

In general, the Battle Pass offers countless cosmetics, XP boosts and CoD points. However, there are also some weapon builds and perks. After purchasing the Battle Pass, players:inside already receive the new operator Carver Butcher, two more legendary operator skins and a weapon build plan for the Assault Rifle “Solar Array”. In addition, there will be a new operator skin every ten levels.

There are a total of 100 tiers to climb in the Battle Pass. At the highest level, players:inside receive special items in Warzone. In addition to the operator skin and the weapon building plan, CoD fans will receive the title “Big Cheese”, a seasonal emblem and talisman “Immortal Lord“.
