Activision launches the Gunfight tournaments in Black Ops – Cold War this week. These are knockout tournaments with 16 duo teams, each competing in two-on-two.

To participate in the tournaments, you need a player in your friends list, with whom you can switch to Gunfight tournament mode via the multiplayer menu. While the starting trmine and other rules remain open so far, in the past Gunfights have been played out within six winning rounds, each with 40 seconds of round time.

While the loser is eliminated, the winning team moves on to the next round. Each Gunfight tournament brings four new exclusive rewards. These include a new emblem, a calling card, a lucky charm, and a weapon blueprint.

There is still no exact date for the start of the Gunfight tournaments. That’s why a daily look at the Black Ops Cold War menu is recommended. We’ll keep you posted on an update.
