Although Season 2 in CoD: Warzone is still running, there are already first hints about the third edition. This is what players:inside could look forward to.

Though Season 2 in Call of Duty: Warzone is still in full swing. Nevertheless, there are already first information about the third Season in the Battle Royale, on which the players:inside can focus.

Since 14 February, Season 2 has been active in Call of Duty: Warzone and Vanguard. This was released simultaneously for the Battle Royale and the latest spin-off and brought some changes. Caldera was reworked and the performance of the titles was also improved. In addition, new modes and maps appeared in the shooters. However, players can already look forward to new adjustments in April.

When will Season 3 start?

Based on past Season transitions, it can be assumed that the upcoming Season 3 will start with the immediate end of Season 2. The current Battle Pass will run until 26 April and this gives a preview of when to expect Season 3. Normally, it could go live on the same day if no delays intervene. Season 2 was delayed for some time due to some bug fixes, so a release from the beginning of May would also be possible.

What can be expected in Season 3 of Warzone?

Players:inside could look forward to an improvement in the audio of steps. There have already been some hints on Twitter. Further adjustments to the map Caldera could be coming with Season 3, as it is still often criticised by players due to the map design and the colours. In addition, an improvement of the anti-cheat programme RICOCHET can be expected with further updates. Warzone has had to deal with cheaters on a regular basis since its release, which has only changed slightly since the debut of RICOCHET.

The Sniper meta might also be over with the launch of Season 3. In an interview, Raven Software senior creative director Ted Timmins revealed that plans are underway to move away from the current meta with Season 3. The planned Streamer Mode Plus could also launch with the next Season. Stream sniping by random viewers is a constant problem in Warzone and the improved version of Streamer Mode could finally put an end to it.
