Call of Duty: Vanguard shows gameplay from the new Champion Hill mode, a mixture of Gunfight and Battle Royale. In it, eight teams fight in four arenas, collect money, buy killstreaks and equipment during breaks in the action – and in the end, the last remaining squad wins.

The trailer also shows how much destruction will be possible in the upcoming shooter: Wooden barriers, for example, can be shot to get new lines of sight.

CoD Vanguard will be released on 5 November 2021, with several test phases running beforehand: It starts with the PlayStation-exclusive alpha from 27 to 29 August (PS4 and PS5). From 10 to 13 September there will be another Early Access for PlayStation players, and on 16 and 17 September PC and Xbox players will also be able to get started. From 18 September, there will be an open beta weekend for all platforms.
