Capcom is preparing the RPG for the upcoming Dark Arisen expansion. Patch 3.2 adds more save slots, smarter allies, and new weapon skills.
Capcom has released the biggest update yet for Dragon’s Dogma 2, giving the game a major overhaul ahead of the release of the Dark Arisen expansion.
Version 3.2 includes, among other things, far-reaching changes to numerous gameplay areas; combat balancing has been adjusted, and the behavior of allies and enemies—as well as large parts of the user interface—has been overhauled.

You can also expect extensive engine and performance optimizations. In addition, you’ll get more storage slots, an item to cure the Dragon Plague, and more assignable weapon skills.

Changes to the Save System
- The number of save slots available for each Awakened’s adventure data has been increased from one to three.
- Each save slot now contains three different types of saved data: autosave, temporary save, and Last Inn save point.
- Loading the last inn save point no longer deletes the autosave or the temporary save.
- The date and time of your last save are now displayed on the save screen.
Changes to the Dragon Plague
- An item to cure Dragon Plague has been added: Dragon Suppression Potion.
- A dialogue with the vassals has been added that refers to the Dragon Suppression Potion.
Adjustments to Actions
- The number of assignable weapon skills has been increased from four to six.
- You are now less likely to stagger for a short time after being staggered by an attack.
- Enemies are now less likely to attack you while you are crawling.
- If you are attacked while lying on the ground, you now get back up immediately.
- The effect of a stamina regeneration item used while exhausted now takes effect immediately.
- The duration of invincibility when revived with a Lazarus Stone has been extended.
