Battlefield 6: Season 3 Content Roadmap and Launch Time – What’s Coming and When?

The third season of Battlefield 6 is coming soon with new maps, weapons, and a Redsec leaderboard. We’re breaking down the full roadmap.

Season 3 is just around the corner in Battlefield 6, and we’re getting you ready for it by taking a closer look at the roadmap for the coming weeks.

The new season focuses entirely on remakes of classic maps, and things are about to get serious for the Redsec players among you.

Start of Season 3

As usual, the third season will be divided into three major parts. We’ll kick things off with the Season 3 updateWarlords: Overlord. Here are the start times for the three parts:

  • Season 3 Start Time: May 12, 2026, 2:00 PM German Time
  • Shockwave Update: June 9, 2026
  • High-Value Target Update: June 30, 2026

Warlords: Supremacy

At the start of the season on May 12, you’ll be able to let loose on a new map right away. Well, it’s not exactly new, but it is the largest in Battlefield 6. In addition, a new Battle Royale mode awaits you.

  • New Map: Golmud Railway: This map from Battlefield 4 has been re-released as a remake. Here, you’ll fight amidst villages, hills, and an industrial area complete with a railway.
  • New Mode: Redsec Ranked: Things are getting serious for all Battle Royale fans. In the new mode, you climb the leaderboard and unlock permanent rewards.
  • New Weapons

    • M16A4 Assault Rifle:Customizable assault rifle with fully automatic and burst fire modes.
    • RPK-74M LMG:LMG for longer ranges with minimal recoil.
    • L115 Sniper Rifle:Bolt-action sniper rifle designed primarily for long-range combat.

  • New Attachments: Quick-Draw Holster, Retrofit Buffer, and Burst Mode

Shockwave

With the Shockwave update on June 9, another familiar map is coming to the game, and a mode from Battlefield 4 is also making a comeback.

  • New Map: Grand Bazaar: This remake of Grand Bazaar from Battlefield 3 features winding alleys with plenty of tactical opportunities.
  • New Mode: Demolition: Both teams battle to secure bombs on the map and use them to destroy the enemy radio tower.
  • High-Explosive Bonus Track Eventto unlock cosmetic rewards
  • New Weapons

    • MP PP-19: MP with a snail magazine for close range.
    • Portable Jammer Gadget: Scout gadget that jams electronic devices.

  • New Attachments: 00 Shot, Cryo Barrels

High-Value Target

Finally, Season 3 wraps up on June 30 with additional modes and an event.

  • New Mode: Tactical Annihilation: The classic Annihilation mode, but with a highly competitive twist. Prove your teamwork skills in 8v8 rounds.
  • New Mode: Redsec Casual: If Ranked is too stressful, you can try out Casual first. Here you’ll face both human players and bot opponents.
  • Bonus Path Event: Dirty Work: You collect and complete contracts from eliminated enemies.
  • New Melee Weapon: EOD Bot Arm
  • New Attachments:Compensator, Subsonic Ammo

In addition to the new content, the Season 3 update also includes a few gameplay improvements and bug fixes. Among other things, vehicle handling and some gadgets have been extensively reworked. Weapon balancing has also been tweaked.

For stats nerds, there’s now a dedicated in-game page where you can track your seasonal performance.
