So far, Intel’s promising Panther Lake generation has only been available in laptops—handhelds equipped with the new mobile chips are also set to be unveiled at Computex 2026.
At CES 2026, Intel had hinted at a new chip based on the Panther Lake architecture, specifically designed for gaming handhelds.
Since then, information about concrete specifications or a release date has been scarce, but the website Videocardz now claims to have learned more details: The debut of the “Arc G3” and an accompanying ‘Extreme’ variant is scheduled for Computex 2026, which will be held from June 2 to 5.

For the alleged technical specifications, we must refer to an earlierVideocardz leak from February 2026, which still reflects the current status.
According to this, both the G3 and the G3 Extreme will launch with a (configurable) base TDP of 25 watts; the maximum values are 65 watts for the regular G3 and 80 watts for the Extreme variant.
- In terms of configuration, both chips feature 14 cores each, divided into 2 performance, 8 efficiency, and 4 low-power cores. Maximum clock speeds are reported to be 4.6 GHz and 4.7 GHz, respectively.
- The graphics unit, meanwhile, consists of the Arc B370 with its 10 Xe3 cores in the “standard” G3; the Extreme chip receives the “full configuration” with the Arc B390 and its 12 Xe3 cores.
According to Videocardz, the handheld-specific version of Panther Lake is essentially ready for release: “The silicon is ready and has already undergone internal testing,” the report states.
MSI and OneXPlayer are reportedly among the first manufacturers to adopt the G3 (Extreme)—other companies have at least not made any public commitments in this regard.
