In the Epic Store, you can get a simulation game for free in which you can progress from a small tradesman to a professional electrician.
The free offer in the Epic Games Store changes just in time for Thursday afternoon. From 4 p.m. today, you can get the full version of Electrician Simulator completely free of charge.
You slip into the role of an aspiring craftsman and take on various jobs involving electricity, cables and defective electronics. As always, the promotion runs for exactly one week, and those who secure the title in their own account in good time will keep it permanently.
Free with Epic: Electrician Simulator
(Genre: Simulation –Developer: Take IT Studio! –Release: September 21, 2022)
At the start of your career, you complete simple tutorials in a modest workshop and get to know the basic tools. These include screwdrivers, wire strippers and voltage testers. But your tasks grow quickly! Customers call and report dark rooms, faulty sockets or blown fuse boxes.
You travel to the various locations and assess the situation on site. Laying cables is an elementary part of the gameplay. You open walls, pull new cables and ensure that the connected devices have the correct power supply.
You complete numerous jobs directly in your own workshop. Many customers send broken everyday objects to you by post. At the workbench, you dismantle broken gamepads, malfunctioning remote controls or defective speakers into their individual parts. You look for the faulty components on the circuit boards, solder in new chips and put the devices back together again.Use the money you earn to buy new equipment in the store and unlock licenses for more complex tasks. Later in the game, you can even buy completely run-down houses. You renovate them from the ground up, renew the entire electrical system according to your own ideas and then sell the properties on for a hefty profit.

For whom is the download worthwhile?
If you’ve already sunk countless hours into titles such as House Flipper, PC Building Simulator or Car Mechanic Simulator, then Electrician Simulator is just the thing for you. You work through the jobs at your own pace and enjoy the satisfying feeling at the end when all the lights in the room are finally back on again after an elaborate repair.
The simulator has had a loyal fan base on Steam since its release in September 2022, with 80 percent of players there rating the handyman experience positively. The motivating progress and the detailed repairs at the workbench are particularly praised.
From our own experience, we can say that such simulators seem super simple at first glance – and ultimately they are. But when you play them yourself, they usually have an enormous pull effect and quickly captivate you for several hours. With the Epic gift, you can now see for yourself.
