Doom now runs on a special toy for adults and rewards players with a new form of haptic feedback.
Doom from 1993 can be played on almost anything that has a screen. But devices such as calculators and pregnancy tests are just the tip of the iceberg. The iconic shooter now also runs on intestinal bacteria and can even be controlled by rat stem cells.
And yet humanity has managed to go one better. The new port is not only a new peak of absurdity, no, it is even designed to provide some.
With a small technical upgrade, Doom now also runs on a toy for adults and delights users with a very special reward system.
A completely new experience
As Destructoid reports, Doom has been ported to a so-called vacuum erection device. This is an adult sex toy in which the penis is inserted into a vacuum pump designed for this purpose.
Responsible for this unusual fusion with the catchy name Dong Doom is content creator Aaron Christophel. In a (PG-rated) introductory video, he explains that the pump is one of the few models that has a built-in screen.
XP as a reward is water under the bridge
How does the control work? In order to port the game in its entirety, he installed additional hardware in the device.
However, only buttons that were already on the toy are used for the controls. The most curious thing, however, is probably the function of the main feature.
In Christophel’s version of Doom, every weapon is a pump-action shotgun, because for every enemy you defeat, you are “rewarded with a sensual pump action.” Skill should therefore pay off twice.
There is one problem, however: as you may have noticed, only about half of the population benefits from this innovative reward system. But don’t worry. Somewhere out there, someone is probably working on a solution right now. It’s only a matter of time before the rest can also receive romantic visits from the Doom Slayer.
It’s not just Doom that’s erotic. A current merchandise item from the superhero series The Boys also provides for sensual hours alone. You can find all the information about it in the link box above.
