Things seem to be getting darker and darker for Blizzard. The company is now facing a shareholder lawsuit while its head of human resources is leaving the company.

Following reports that CEO J. Allen Brack will be leaving the company, Blizzard has now also announced that Deputy Head of Human Resources Jesse Meschuk is no longer with the company. Blizzard has not released any further information about Meschuk’s departure, but it is likely to be related to the current litigation the company is facing.

In the wake of this, the human resources department has also come under fire.

In addition to Meschuk’s departure, Blizzard is now facing another lawsuit from Activision Blizzard shareholders. The lawsuit, which seeks class action status, alleges that the company’s stock has plummeted in value due to management negligence and omissions. It also seeks damages. Activision Blizzard’s shares have been on a downward slide since 21 June, when it was announced that the company was being sued by the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing.

In addition to Activision Blizzard, the lawsuit names CEO Bobby Kotick, CFO Dennis Durkin and former CFO Spencer Neumann as defendants. Activision Blizzard was also criticised for how they handled the lawsuit. Their initial statement was called “tactless. “
