Last week, Ratchet & Clank (2016) celebrated its eighth anniversary. To celebrate this little birthday, Insomniac is making a highly anticipated weapon available to the whole community

In the now distant 2002, Insomniac released Ratchet & Clank for the first time. After several successful spin-offs, the decision was made to release a remaster in 2016, which was hugely popular. This is also proven by the more than satisfactory reviews on Metacritic.

Last week, developer Insomniac Games celebrated the eight-year anniversary of the remaster with a little surprise. They released the weapon The Bouncer to the entire community, after it had only been available to pre-orders for years.

With the new weapon in their luggage, fans can experience the first adventure of Ratchet & Clank in new splendor. The title has been adapted for the PlayStation 5 so that you can experience the fast-paced action in 60 FPS with the help of an update.
This makes the remaster the second title in the popular series to be available for the PlayStation 5. In summer 2021, the latest spin-off was released under the title Rift Apart  This became available for the PC last summer.

With the release of Ratchet & Clank in 2002, Insomniac has developed one of the longest running and most popular franchises for the PlayStation. In addition to the main series, numerous spin-offs and an animated film were also released in 2016. You can listen to the voice actors of the film again in the remaster
