As we told you in the last post there has always been war between the five realms in the world of Aveum. Especially dangerous seems Sandrakk, tyrant of Rasharn, who has already conquered the kingdom Kalthus
As the latest cinematic of Immortals of Aveum shows, this campaign seems to have succeeded using the Creator Stone This is an ancient artefact that fell into the hands of the immortals after the apparent death of Sandrakk.
Actually, protagonist Jak should have destroyed the Creator Stone. But instead he brings it back to the war room of Palathon, the headquarters of the Order. His mentor Kirkan is anything but thrilled about this.
In a (related blog entry) co-creator Michael Kirkbride talks about the backgrounds of the featured characters Jak, Kirkan and Zendara, explaining that even the “good side” can have its dark spots.
It is hinted that Jak will have to go his own way in the further course of the game and act between the two extremes of Sandrakk and Kirkan. Thus Immortals of Aveum should also have a lot to offer story-wise.
