Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 gets a new map with Vondel Waterfront and the trailer introduces it to you in detail. It’s based on the Floating District in Vondel, but featuresa number of tweaks to better integrate with MW2’s multiplayer battles.
It is a compact map surrounded by water and designed for 6v6 multiplayer battles. It features four walkable buildings instead of the ten of the original floating district. Two particularly prominent ones, the Red House and the Blue House, serve as the centre. The map’s waterways provide several opportunities for flanking. Other adjustments such as altered decks and added borders ensure that there will hardly be any quiet times here.
The free update with the new map will be released on 12 July 2023
