Super Mario: Four games about the cult plumber unveiled

The latest edition of the Nintendo Direct took place yesterday afternoon. Among other things, it included four games about Super Mario and his friends. We present the games to you in the following.

Super Mario Bros. Wonder

Familiar, yet brand new – that’s how the latest part of the Mario series, Super Mario Bros. Wonder, presents itself. In the platformer you experience familiar 2D sidescrolling, whose new features you can explore alone or in local co-op  On October 20, the game will be released exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. Remaster of Luigi’s Mansion 2

2013 Luigi’s Mansion 2 was originally released for the Nintendo 3DS. 2024 a graphically polished version of the game is set to be released exclusively for the Switch. The first trailer already gave a first glimpse of the modern graphics. Don’t let the English-language title confuse you. In North America, the spooky fun was released under the epithet Dark Moon

Remaster of Super Mario RPG

The first RPG about the cult plumber first appeared in 1996 for the SNES. 27 years later, Nintendo is reaching into the role-playing game box once again and presenting a graphically enhanced version of Super Mario RPG. This is set to be released on November 17 for the Switch.

It’s getting quite noble in an as yet untitled game starring Princess Peach. Here, 2D platforming meets fancy wardrobe changes. We’ll probably find out more about the game soon. You can find the announcement trailer here.
