Shadows over Morrowind, the year-round expansion of The Elder Scrolls Online, started a month ago. Kicking off the highly anticipated Necrom chapter is a prologue, which is available to the entire community for free

In January, Bethesda announced the year-long expansion Shadow over Morrowind. Its highlight is the Necorm chapter, which will be released in the summer. Those who would like to take a first deep dive into the upcoming adventure can start the free prologue now. All you have to do is visit the Crown Shop and select the quest Eye of Destiny.

In this quest you will join the envoy of Hermaeus Mora, who goes by the name of Leramil the Wise. Through his help, you are to stand your ground before the Daedric prince. However, this test quickly turns out to be a conspiracy and raises the question of who can be trusted in Mora”s enigmatic cult. Upon completion of the prologue, you will receive the unstable Emerald Glyph in the form of a memento as a reward.

On 5 June (PC) or 20 June (consoles) you will finally have to face the undead terror. Necom introduces the new class Arcanist, which we introduced to you in more detail in the following news item. There you will also find some interesting information about the roadmap of the year-long expansion. You can see the power of the Arcanist for yourself in the trailer above.

The following trailer gives you an overview of the upcoming events.
