Iceflake Studios and Paradox Interactive today release Surviving the Aftermath: Rebirth. This is the third expansion to the survival colony-builder.

It’s been a busy month for Paradox Interactive. After holding Announcement Show 2023, news has been raining down on the publisher’s popular titles. This is also true for Surviving the Aftermath. Its expansion Rebirth was also unveiled during the livestream a week and a half ago.

The colonists are threatened by a fungal infestation called Blight, which is the result of radioactive contamination. Through terraforming, you can now alter the environment to collect samples. You can study these in advanced facilities to hopefully produce a cure.

Surviving the Aftermath: Rebirth adds three new buildings and three building updates to the Survival Colony builder. To help you arm yourself against the new threat, there is also a new multi-stage Light Lab with its own research tree.

The Cleaning Post can not only remove small pollution deposits. You can also turn it into a destruction post . This way you can clean up rotten nests, hives and burrows.
The Basic Terraformer converts the land into terraformed soil. An upgrade also makes it even more powerful.

The Environmental Station becomes a Hazardous Materials Station: allowing survivors to clean up plague origins and stop creature attacks.

Surviving the Aftermath: Rebirth is available now on PC, PlayStation and Xbox for €14.99. You can also find more info about the new expansion on the (official website).
