The Last of Us: second season to cover the second part

In less than two weeks, HBO series The Last of Us will be released here on Sky and WOW. Should the series be a success, creator Neil Druckmann and showrunner Craig Mazin already have a plan for the next season.

Like many other Game, we”re looking forward to the approaching series launch of The Last of Us. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Neil Druckmann and Craig Mazin talk about the production of the series. They already hinted that there are plans for a next season. This is supposed to cover the hotly discussed sequel TLoU: Part II. Even though the title had received a lot of praise from critics, the community was very divided. Many were so dissatisfied with the developments in Part II that creator Neil Druckmann even received death threats.

So far, fans seem to be looking forward to the release of The Last of Us. This is not least due to the two main actors Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey. Both had already captured the hearts of fans through their appearances in the HBO series Game of Thrones. In addition, Pascal thrilled with his performance as the Mandalorian in the Star Wars series of the same name.

The Last of Us will be released on 15 January on SKY and WOW.
