After just five days, Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 has already racked up a massive amount of players:inside.

Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 celebrated its long-awaited release on 16 November. Within a very short time, the new battle royale attracted countless players. The official Twitter account of Call of Duty thanked the millions of CoD fans on Monday.

In just five days, the sequel to Warzone attracted over 25 million players. The community includes PC, PlayStation and Xbox gamers. For Activision in particular, this is a huge success. After all, Modern Warfare 2 also had the best start in the franchise”s history in October, earning over 800 million US dollars in just three days.

However, Warzone 2.0 does not have to hide behind the number. Because compared to its predecessor, the new Battle Royale can also claim success. In 2020, Warzone could only boast 15 million players within days. However, the predecessor reached 30 million CoD fans after ten days. Accordingly, further user growth could still take place in Warzone 2.0.

Activision”s new Battle Royale is receiving tremendous attention despite issues during its release. The download speed of the game was very slow at the beginning and also the connection to the server was regularly interrupted. Likewise, the first bugs already appeared, causing the gulag to eliminate players:inside immediately.
