Lies of P: The story behind the acclaimed RPG

During the Opening Night Live, developer Neowiz Games had already revealed a gameplay trailer of Lies of P. Then the Souls-like RPG had cleared three of the Gamescom Awards 2022 at once and is thus considered the big winner of the awards. We tell you what the game is all about.

Lies of P is developed and published by the Korean studio Neowiz . In this game, you experience the well-known story about the puppet boy Pinocchio in a Souls-like RPG setting that introduces you to an eerie world.
You play the mechanoid Pinocchio, who searches for the mysterious Mr. Geppetto in the city of Krat. According to a mysterious letter, he is supposed to be in this place. What actually sounds like an easy addiction mission quickly reveals itself to be a formidable challenge, as the town has been overrun by madness and a thirst for blood. Pinocchio must trust no one and lie to everyone if he really wants to become a real boy one day.

In this gritty world of Lies of P, both your lying and fighting talents matter. The gameplay adapts to the quality of your fibs, so you can experience different endings depending on your lying skill.
Apart from that, the combat plays an important role. Therefore, the Souls-Like RPG not only offers you a full-blown combat system. But also a skill tree, with which you can equip Pinocchio with different skills according to your wishes. An advantage of being a puppet.
At the same time, you can collect and combine variousweapons to take down your enemies even faster and more effectively.

Lies of P at the Gamescom Awards 2022

Although the Souls-like RPG does not yet have a release date, it is already considered a celebrated title in the gaming world.
