Streaming is a mass market. The business magazine Forbes has now published a list of the ten most successful gaming streamers and influencers of 2019.

Tyler “Ninja” Blevins’ move from twitch to mixer in August 2019 was a bang on the streamingscene. In the meantime, former Counter-Strike pro Michael “shroud” Grzesiek has also switched to the Microsoft platform. According to Forbes information, shroud is expected to collect almost 20 million US dollars for three years.

The platforms Facebook, YouTube and Caffeine have also grabbed exclusive names.

The large income is not even invested in the Esports area. Ninja missed out on qualifying for the Fortnite World Cup, but last year made the bulk of his income through twitch subscribers and donations from his fans, plus sponsorships and the mixer deal mentioned above.

Also in the top 10 is the Swede Felix “PewDiePie” Kjellberg. On YouTube he is the biggest single person and has almost 103 million subscribers. In the past, he also fought with scandals around antifeminism, anti-Semitism and racism. His fans have remained loyal to him.

The income figures are pure estimates from the Forbes editorial office and refer to the year 2019 and the US dollar figures.
