From Software releases DLCs for the main games a few months after release. One could also be coming for Elden Ring this year.

In February Elden Ring was released and caused a huge hype. Even after three months, it remains very popular and has sold over 500,000 copies in Germany alone in that time. A DLC is also eagerly awaited. There are already some details and hints for this.

If you look at the complete map of Elden Ring, you will notice a hidden area in the middle of the map. There in the middle of the sea there is still a layer of clouds that seems to hide something. The streamer Elajjaz took a closer look at this spot and found nothing there. There was also no water to be seen at the spot and it seems that a piece of the map is missing. This could mean a new location for the DLC.

From Software could use the area for the expansion. Also, this is quite close to the giant coliseum in Caelid, which has been content for speculation for a DLC. There is a lift in it, but so far it leads to nowhere. This could later be linked to the area under the mysterious cloud. After all, the building could also serve as a kind of PvP arena.

So far, From Software has released one or more DLCs for all three Dark Souls parts. Only Demon’s Souls and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice had not received an expansion at the time. The DLCs appeared several months after the release of the main game. Therefore, players:inside can probably hope for an expansion in Elden Ring this year.

Moreover, the DLC bosses from the Dark Souls games are often among the strongest of the entire series. From Software could therefore also add a powerful enemy to Elden Ring, which could even bring Malenia to her knees. So far, she is one of the hardest bosses that From Software has developed.
