Tactical hit Insurgency: Sandstorm gets free weapon & map update

With Operation Glasshouse, a comprehensive and above all free update for the tactical team shooter Insurgency: Sandstorm was released on 16 May. In the tactical house battles in the Middle East, a good eye and high attention are required.

The new prison map Prison emerged from a community competition and supports three co-op and five Versus modes. In addition, two new shotguns, the KSG and KS-23, were added to the game. The two free DLCs “Captive” and “Detainer” give you two equipment sets and two new weapon skins let you go out in carbon fibre or Woddland camouflage look.

Gameplay-wise, spawn area protection, user interface, map tuning and numerous AI as well as graphics issues have been tweaked. The Ambush, Frontline, Outpost and Survival modes have been improved as well as the level design of 14 of the well-known maps. The complete patch notes can be found on the (official site).
