King Arthur: Knight’s Tale has been in Steam Early Access for over a year now. At the end of April, the fantasy RPG from NeocoreGames left this phase behind and is now available as a full game for PC. A console release is also planned.
Experience the legendary history of England in a new guise. In King Arthur: Knight’s Tale, you do not take on the role of the noble King of England. Instead, you act as his arch-enemy, Sir Mordred. On the battlefield, the two have struck each other down, but they both survive in one way or another. Now it’s up to you to explore the mystical island of Avalon and kill King Arthur once more.
In King Arthur: Knight’s Tale you are not only busy exploring the island of Avalon. You also take care of the rebuilding of Camelot and the administration of the Round Table, whose knights you send on various missions. Depending on your decisions, the knights may remain loyal to you or turn against you. Each of these heroes has a unique personality with individual skill trees that you can level up regularly. You are advised to do so. Because if a hero is not up to his mission, he can die and is therefore no longer available for the rest of the game.
Aside from the 20 story missions of King Arthur: Knight’s Tale, numerous side quests and 50 points of interest await you. After completing the campaign, however, the story is not yet finished. Random quests, mythical boss fights and various other challenges await you to bring the strategic RPG to its epic conclusion.
