In the last video, the developers of Starfield talked about the vastness of space and its exploration. The latest episode of Into the Starfield is all about realism and storytelling. It even gets philosophical at the end.

Creating a world is always a challenge. It doesn’t matter if your environment is terrestrial, intergalactic or interdimensional. The important thing is authenticity, the moment has to feel real. The development team at Bethesda also talks about this in the latest episode of Into the Starfield.

In the futuristic setting of the sci-fi RPG, various different worlds come together, inspired by different genres such as westerns and industrialisation. All these settings must feel authentic to the player. This is done by making the player aware of the complexity of the different societies. How the player interacts with his environment in the process is entirely up to him. At the same time, his environment will also interact with him, for example by NPCs commenting on his actions. This brings the open world of Starfield to life.

This Open World lets players tell their own story within Starfield using the various customisation options. While they face the challenges of space and seemingly only their own problems, the big questions of our existence reveal themselves to them as the game progresses: Why are we here? Where is our destiny leading us? And what else awaits humanity in the eternity of the universe?

Starfield will be released on 11 November 2022 for PC and Xbox Series X/S. More intergalactic knowledge awaits you on the (official website)
