The male share dominates the FIFA scene and tournaments. The ECL and RUSHGG, on the other hand, want to actively support female esport players.

The Esports Championship League (ECL) Entertainment together with RUSHGG wants to increase the share of women in the FIFA esports scene. Therefore, the two organisers are jointly planning competitive events for 2022, where mainly the best female players will show their skills.

Currently, there are few female faces at FIFA Global Series (FGS) events. ECL Entertainment not only wants to give female players an area to play, but also actively support them and narrow the gap between them and male players. The events will help the organisations to assess the skills of the female players and to sign and promote them.

The ECL has been working with the best female FIFA players and influencers for the past three years. As a result, it has partnered with RUSHGG to organise the female cup and prize money. There will also be monthly community cups hosted by ECL talent. This will allow the female players to plan tournaments themselves and gain their first operational experience.

Furthermore, RUSHGG and the ECL are planning several talent competitions to offer even more young women the chance of a career in the FIFA esports scene. This is to create even more opportunities for female players in the gaming and esports industry.

In addition to RUSHGG, Her Game Too will also be helping out as a partner. This is an organisation of female football fans who campaign against sexism in classic football.
