One week from today, Horizon Forbidden West will finally be released! To kick off the final countdown, PlayStation released the cinematic trailer that gets us in the mood for the action adventure’s grand journey.

Are you ready to face the dangers of the Forbidden West? The cinematic trailer for Horizon Forbidden West, released this afternoon, definitely triggers wanderlust in us. In it, we see a confident Aloy setting out on her new adventure with deep faith in herself.

The end of the Cinematic Trailer suggests that in Horizon Forbidden West, Aloy will be able to use flyable machines as mounts. This would be hugely revolutionising in-game travel options. For in the previous part, you could only bridge and use land-dwelling machines as mounts. This new method of travel would save a lot of time and conserve the resources that had to be used to make the fast travel packs.

According to

Guerilla’s latest (PlayStation blog post), Horizon Zero Dawn has been downloaded over 20 million times. In the process, the community has invested over 1 billion game hours in the action adventure so far. On 18 February, this spectacular journey continues with Horizon Forbidden West.
