Also in the new trailer Instinction lets the graphics muscles play again and conjures up dense jungle landscapes, atmospheric lighting and credibly animated dinosaurs on the screen. Meanwhile, the developers have switched to Unreal Engine 5 (previously UE4). Instinction is scheduled for release in September 2022, but we still know little about the actual gameplay. The developers promise:
- Large selection of dinosaurs: Over 26 different species, including well-known giants such as Triceratops, Tyrannosaurus and Raptors, have been confirmed. The trailer also shows saber-toothed cats, underwater and pterosaurs
- Exploration & Sidequests: The game world will consist of forests, lakes, swamps, caves and secret research stations. The weather can change dynamically. There is a lot of fighting, but not all animals are hostile. Side missions are meant to provide variety.
- Weapon arsenal: The large selection of pistols, rifles, rocket launchers and co. can be further customised with various attachments and skins, but ammunition is scarce. Only clever management of resources should lead to the goal
