The highly coveted OTW packs were supposed to kick off the first season in FIFA 22 with a bang. However, one bug disappoints fans.
A new day, a new faux pas from EA Sports: The developer released the pre-ordered OTW (Ones To Watch) card packs in FIFA 22 prematurely. However, the corresponding cards are not yet in the game. Some players already opened their packs and were disappointed about the missing content.
FIFA 22 is officially available for everyone since Friday. Those who pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition can also look forward to the special OTW cards. These contain players who changed clubs during the summer season. Top footballers like Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi are waiting in them.
The OTW event will start on Friday at 7 pm. However, EA has made a big mistake: Some players had already opened the card packs on their account. Instead of a guaranteed OTW kicker, however, they only received a gold card. The developer has since announced that the packs can no longer be opened and that the error is being investigated. Those who have already opened their pack will receive a new OTW pack in the coming days.
So if you also find the pack in your inventory: Hands off, it’s not safe to open until 7pm!

OTW Pre-Order Packs currently can't be opened while we investigate the issue. Players who opened their Pack prior to OTW release will receive a new OTW Pack in the coming days.
