October 1st is the official release of FIFA 22 and so slowly EA Sports finally shifts up a gear and delivers content to the community. This time it’s an exclusive partnership with the Lega Seria A.

What does the partnership with Lega Seria A entail?

The partnership includes 16 exclusively licensed teams, in-game Serie A integration, including authentic Serie A integration into the FUT Team of the Week, the FUT Serie A Team of the Season and the new EA SPORTS Player of the Month Award.

Which 16 clubs are exclusively licensed?

The 16 clubs that will be authentically integrated into FIFA 22 are Bologna F.C. 1909, Cagliari Calcio, Empoli F.C., ACF Fiorentina, Genoa C.F.C., Hellas Verona F.C., FC Internazionale Milano, A.C. Milan, S.S.C. Napoli, U.S. Salernitana 1919, U.C. Sampdoria, U.S. Sassuolo Calcio, Spezia Calcio, Torino F.C., Udinese Calcio and Venezia F.C.

The remaining six clubs have licensing agreements with other developers such as KONAMI and probably Strikerz Inc. (UFL), but will still be playable under the Italian league.
