The winners of the gamesom Awards have been announced in the first 15 categories. The game “Elden Ring” has won several prizes at the same time.

The Gamescom Awards will be presented again this year in 22 categories. The first trophies in the platform categories were already awarded at the fair’s “Opening Night Live” on 25 August. A total of 15 prizes have already been awarded and the Souls game “Elden Ring” stands out in particular.

Elden Ring wins several awards

The role-playing game Elden Ring creates a new fantasy world with the help of “Game of Thrones” author George R.R. Martin and Hidetaka Miyazaki, the creator of the “Dark Souls” series. This game won in the categories: “Best Action Adventure Game”, “Best RPG” and “Best Sony Playstation Game”. In addition, the Souls game was nominated in two other classes.

Halo Infinite is nominated Best Multiplayer Game

Halo Infinite has won the “Best Multiplayer Game” award. With the new part of the Halo series, the well-known multiplayer mode also comes back into the game. In addition to a new campaign, Halo Infinite brings two multiplayer modes to the market. A Big Team Battles variant is also added to the classic Arena mode. The special thing about the new Halo: the multiplayer will be playable for free.
