World of Warcraft: Midnight is casting its shadow. The new add-on for WoW will be released on March 3, 2026, and now the big pre-patch has been released. It prepares the MMORPG for the expansion in the background, but there is also plenty of new content.
The Twilight Ascension Prep Event runs from January 28 to March 3, 2026, so you only have a limited time to bag the rewards. We’ll show you which items you can get in the event and where to find them.
Quest Givers and Start of the Pre-Patch Event
The growing cult of the Twilight Blade must be stopped—at least, that’s the opinion of Magister Umbric and Grand Magister Rommath. And who will help them? That’s right: you!
Meet the two NPCs in Stormwind and play a short introductory quest series, for which you will receive your first rewards upon completion:
- Twilightblade tabard
- Title:
Definitely Not a Cultist
You can then accept two weekly quests from Umbric and Rommath, namely Disrupt the Call
and Twilight Dusk
. Completing these quests will earn you Twilight’s Edge Insignia, which you can use to purchase additional rewards from the vendors at the Twilight Ascendant base camp in the Shadow Highlands.
