The founder of the Motif Esports organisation is accused of sexual harassment at the VCT Game Changers. All the female players and the couch leave the team together.

Serious allegations have been made against Motif Esports and founder JawsYT at the VCT Game Changers in VALORANT. Two members of Motif Violet accused the organisation of sexual harassment, abysmal management and racism on Tuesday.

Captain Joanne shared on Twitter the resignation of the entire team from Motif Esports. In a (TwitLonger post), the player explained her motives. In doing so, she accused the founder of the organisation of sexual harassment. According to Joanne, these harassments were a kind of joke for the owner. Furthermore, the atmosphere within Motif Esports was toxic.

Joanne’s accusations were supported by her teammate RattieRebecca. She too, in a (TwitLonger post) accused the organisation of sexual harassment and even racism. Especially the female players who are not from England would have felt this. Turkish VALORANT player Mercy had to deal with racist messages in Twitch streams towards her, according to RattieRebecca. Although these had been sent by a member of Motif Esports, management had done nothing to stop the behaviour.

Motif Violet has now completely disbanded. The team led by Joanne and RattieRebecca will compete under the name karmaVALORANT in the future. Since the public accusations of the players, the Twitter account of Motif Esports has been deactivated. In addition, the founder has set his page to private.
